We publish original stories in ANY genre: romance, thrillers, sci-fi, memoir, philosophy, horror, literary fiction, poetry, non-fiction, children’s books… almost everything. If you write in a Genre that is not on our list, feel free to submit. You can be the first in a new Genre!
Authors keep 100% of their copyright and earn 50% of net revenue on every sale.
ALL AUTHOR PUBLICATIONS ARE ISSUED WITH A FREE ISBN NUMBER!
No reading fees, no editing fees, no hiddencosts — Ever!
Pricing & Categories and payments to writers are in United States of America dollars ($US).
All payments (USD – auto-converts to your local currency).
We offer a true 50% net royalty on every sale. After payment processing fees are deducted, the author receives:
Short Reads 800 – 5,000 words – Buyer Price US$2.99 → Author earns $1.05 per sale
Medium Reads 5,001 – 40,000 words – Buyer Price US4.99 → Author earns $1.75 per sale
Long Reads 40,000+ – Buyer Price US($6.99) → Author earns $2.80 per sale
Who can submit?
• Writers of any experience level, agents, schools, educators – from anywhere in the world.
• Children 8 + (with teacher or parental guidance provided – subject line “Childhood Education”).
Victoria L. reads every submission personally and she replys as quickly as possible.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Ready?
The manuscript must be formatted in a Serif type font such as Garamond, Times New Roman, Apto etc.
It is important that you provide the Genre of your book plus the size – Short, Medium or Long.
We require a short promotional ‘blurb’ similar to those on the rear of a book + a 100 word outline of your story + an image to promote your book in the ‘New Books’ page.

How to Submit
Email your complete manuscript to: submissions@victorialtravelreads.international
Your submission needs to include the Genre, word count, a brief summary of your book, a publicity blurb + an image which can be used to promote your book. Also required is an acknowledgement that the Privacy document has been read and the Conditions of the Contract (which needs to be signed) is noted that your submitted work is original and the intellectual property is owned by you.
Basic Formatting Tips (helps everything convert smoothly):
- Use Word Styles: Heading 2 or 3 for chapter titles, Normal/Body for main text.
- Font: 12 pt Times New Roman, Arial or similiar Serif font.
- Line spacing: 1.5 or double-spaced; single space between paragraphs (no extra blank lines except scene breaks).
- Format: .docx (Microsoft Word). If using Google Docs, download/export as .docx. Why .docx? Using .docx to provide consistent professional formatting to insert your free ISBN, add front/back matter, and convert to high-quality EPUB for distribution.
- If .epub is not available download instantly as PDF (.pdf) — works great on any phone, tablet or computer. EPUB coming shortly!
- Indents: 0.5 cm / 0.5 inch (use the indent tool — no manual tabs).
- Scene breaks: centered on its own line.
- Avoid: Text boxes, tracked changes, excessive comments, or heavy embedded images (embed if needed, but note reflow in digital).

Between: Victoria L. Travel Reads – Victoria L. Digital Publishing (ABN 42-88-1-4801138, NSW, Australia (“Publisher”)
and (INSERT YOUR NAME)
1. Acceptance
We will email you if we accept your Work for publication.
2. Grant of Rights
You grant us exclusive worldwide digital rights for 90 days from publication, thereafter non-exclusive.
You retain full copyright at all times.
3. Payment
50% of net revenue (after distribution/platform fees).
Paid monthly via bank transfer once earnings reach US$50 (otherwise quarterly).
Transparent sales report provided with every payment.
4. Warranties
You confirm the Work is original, does not infringe third-party rights, and facts are checked to the best of your ability.
5. Kill Fee
If we accept but later decide not to publish(no fault of yours), we pay 25% of projected first-month royalties.
6. Edits & Cover
We may edit for clarity, length, style, and EO. Core meaning will not be changed without your approval where practical.
You may supply your own cover image (we reserve the right to request minor adjustments).
7. Termination
Either party may end this agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Earned royalties remain payable.
8. Governing Law
Laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes to be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
